Anurag Kumar is an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in distributed computing, data engineering, and data science. He is passionate about solving complex and high-impact problems and has a proven track record in delivering projects in record time. Anurag is currently working as an Engineering Manager at INDmoney, where he has led the creation of an easy-to-use platform for applying for IPOs. He has also built a Credit Card Tracking System, which rewards users with US stocks for spending on selected US brands. Anurag has a deep understanding of Scala, Play Framework, Postgres, Amazon SQS, Python, Airflow, and SQL. Before joining INDmoney, Anurag was a Principal Software Engineer at INDMoney, where he designed and implemented a generic PDF parsing platform that can extract any information from PDF documents. He also created a new parallel system to track Indian stocks, which can track stock holdings irrespective of the number of brokers users are invested in. Anurag has experience working with Python, Flask, PDFquery, PDFminer, camelot, and Spark. Anurag has also volunteered as a Senior Data Engineer at AarogyaSetu, where he built the privacy-first data platform and insight platform for India's contact tracing app. He wrote MySQL and DynamoDB to Redshift pipelines, set up Debezium and Airflow for real-time ingestion and pipelines, and built and maintained ICMR Data to Data Warehouse pipeline. Anurag has experience working with Spark, Kafka, Delta.io, ElasticSearch, and Redash. Anurag holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Calicut and has completed his 12th from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Baloda.
